Volunteer Opportunities
Both individuals and groups are encouraged to volunteer at Doyle's Farm, if you don't mind getting your hands dirty! Some examples of tasks you maybe ask to help with are, bottle feeding babies, goat milking, mucking out stalls, daily chores, etc.
Doyle's Farm has had numerous high school students from various schools come and volunteer to gain valuable working experience with animals. We also work with the local vocational school's animal science program. We have had several students over the years participate and move onto collage to advance there animal science degrees with this valuable volunteer program.
Doyle's Farm has also been able to assist with students and the Hunterdon and Somerset 4H programs and fair's. The students have one many awards and so have our animals!!
Not only have we worked with younger groups but we have had the opportunity to have Delaware Valley University's Pre-Vet Club come to New Jersey to volunteer. They assisted with a lot of farm work, from caring/mucking animal pens, assisting with chicken care and preparing the coop for the next season, to trimming goat hooves, ear tagging, vaccines, and more!
Volunteer work is flexible and we can work with you or your group(s) schedule. A lot of work can always be found at a farm, and we can find volunteer work for you that fits your needs and preferences. Serious inquiries only!!
